Adobe's subscription model might seem like an expensive way to access software, but one of the benefits is that you always have access to the latest version of the software. Adobe-certified instructor Dan Scott offers a comprehensive tutorial fit for complete beginners with no Photoshop, photography or design knowledge at all. In a three-hour video, Scott, who works for Envato Tuts+, walks through all the basics. Don't have that level of patience? No problem. Royal 3D Text Effect in Photoshop CS6

  Just make sure to check the 3D settings under Edit -> Preferences -> Performance, and Edit -> Preferences -> 3D. Default values should work fine, but if anything seems to be not working properly you can always check those settings. Step 1 - Create a new 1600 x 1200 px document and Fill the Background with black. Create the text in white using the font Dunkin Sans.
