Create a 3D Gold Text Effects

In this tutorial, I will be teaching you how to create an awesome 3D Gold Text Effect in Photoshop. We will be using several layers styles and a metal texture to give the gold text a more realistic appearance. Let’s get started!

Step 1)

Open Photoshop and go to File > New (or CTRL+N) to create a new document. I will be creating a 900 pixels x 400  pixels document at 72 pixels/inch resolution. Color Mode: RGB 8 bit. Background: Transparent.

Step 2)

Go to Edit > Fill > Color… and use the color code #797c80 to fill the background.

Step 3)

Right click the layer and go to Blending Options. We will now set the layer styles using the settings below.
Inner Glow – Blend Mode: Normal, Opacity: 43%, Color: #000000, Size: 90px

Gradient Overlay – Blend Mode: Soft Light, Opacity: 90%, Gradient: #db1b1c-#900000, Style: Radial, Angle: 90

Pattern Overlay – Blend Mode: Soft Light, Pattern: Using the dropdown we will go to Load Patterns and choose the bg-pattern.pat file that was including at the top.

Set foreground color to #d3aa2d. Using the horizontal type tool we will now write out text using settings – Font: Bebas Neue, Font-Size: 300px, Tracking: 10

Pattern Overlay – Blend Mode: Overlay, Pattern: Using the dropdown we will go to Load Patterns and choose the metal-texture.pat file that was including at the top, Scale: 25%

Do those new naked body scanners have you freaked out at the airports? As far as the TSA is concerned, those x-ray machines are here to stay, but you might as well take comfort in knowing that airport security guards aren't the only ones looking at your private parts. Practically anyone with a computer can manage to see through your clothes, and it's all thanks to a little program called Photoshop. Thanks, Adobe. With a few tweaks using the tools in Photoshop, you can see those boobs in no time, male or female. The video is in German, but it's not hard to figure our what's going on, especially if you're familiar with Photoshop. First, create a few duplicate layers, then get a handle on some of these tools to make the naked body through the clothes: * Auswahl erstellen (Create Selection) * Tonwertspreizung (Input Levels) * Belichtung (Exposure) You can also do this see-through clothing effect in free design programs, such as  GIMP .
