Intro
Adobe has spruced up
Photoshop’s Layers panel, taking in both requests from users and
fea-tures popular in applications such as After Effects.
Step: 1
You
can now alter the blending mode, fill and opacity of multiple layers at
the same time. Simply highlight all the relevant layers before making
your changes.
Step: 2
Working
on a big file with lots of layers? As in After Effects and Premiere
Pro, you can now filter your layers using properties such as effect,
attribute, mode or colour label. You can also search for layers by name –
simply type the name into the search box at the top of the panel.
Step: 3
The Duplicate Layer shortcut now extends to layer groups. Highlight a group and press Cmd/Ctrl + J to make a copy of it, including all layers within.
